Shayla is a certified health coach and nutritionist from the Institute for Integrative nutrition and the National Academy of Sports Nutrition. She has years of experience working with clients on improving digestion and overcoming destructive eating habits for sustainable weight release and weight maintenance. Her diverse skills in nutrition has helped many clients reduce bloating, cravings, and reboot their metabolism.
She has a unique approach to achieving optimal health by targeting behavior change and mindset. Her mindfulness work with clients provides insight to emotional triggers that keep clients from staying motivated and consistent. Shayla’s passion for health coaching stemmed from her own challenges with autoimmune deficiencies and a binge eating disorder. As a former bikini competitor she understands the yo-yo diet cycle and the debilitating negative self talk that come along with “falling off” a routine. She has successfully achieved a balanced, stress free, food freedom lifestyle and strives to teach that to others.
She gives a holistic and individualized approach guiding clients to their ideal diet, movement, and well-being practices. She believes that health is not one size fits all and that being your optimal self goes beyond just the physical. It’s about all aspects of your life that come together to make one unified happy healthy human.
