Collection Instructions:

Preparation

  • (Optional) Rinse your mouth with water, then wait 30 minutes
  • Avoid eating, drinking, brushing your teeth, smoking, or chewing gum for at least 30 minutes before collecting your sample.

Sample Collection

  • Remove the swab from the sterile container. Ensure the seal is intact.
  • Rub and rotate the swab on the inside of each cheek, 10-15 times per side.
  • Submerge the swab in the vial containing preservative liquid, and break off the stick at the perforation.

Registration

  • IMPORTANT: Register your kit online and record the number found on both the vial and the box. This number is essential for identifying your sample. Incorrect recording may result in an inability to provide your results.
  • Take a picture of the vial’s number. This number can be found on multiple locations on the box.
